The plates are luncheon sized, so slightly smaller than full size dinner plates. Perfect for game terrines, pâtés and foie gras entrée/ hors d'oeuvre (starter) courses. They measure 21.5cms (8½") diameter, and each weighs 325gms (11.4ozs.) There are four different designs on the eight dinner plates (two each of Pheasant, Partridge, Snipe and Grouse, illustrated in their natural habitats.) The colours and details of the illustrations are incredibly accurate and realistic. Beautiful Landscapes, in an autumnal palette that is timelessly elegant.
All in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or scratches, they all have the "Limoges, France" porcelain mark on the undersides.
